Tuition Classes for
Primary and Secondary Students

We provide tuition classes for all levels. Please refer to our class schedule below.
Our English classes are known as Plain English. The placement for English classes are according to the student’s English Proficiency Level.
There are 4 levels of Plain English Classes: Elementary, Primary, Intermediate and Secondary.

Elementary

For students who want to be confident and fluent readers through phonological awareness and blending syllables. Students are exposed to writing practices and reading comprehension in a fun environment to build their interests.

Primary

Students are exposed to vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension and spoken English sessions. Through proper training on the use of the English dictionary, students are taught to be independent learners. The reading and comprehension skills are sharpened through one to one reading sessions of class reading materials (encyclopedia, magazines, story books, etc.). Spoken English sessions conducted in and out of the classroom builds confidence and interest in the English language.

Intermediate

Intermediate classes focus on Intermediate Level Vocabulary, Intermediate Level Grammar and Intermediate Level Spoken & Written English. Students of form 1 and above are usually enrolled into the Intermediate level classes having sufficient knowledge of vocabulary, grammar and basic writing skills at time of registration and able to communicate in simple English. They are exposed to secondary level English where they learn vocabulary suited to their level.

There are cases where some of the excellent Primary students in English subject are promoted to this class having gone through the system of Plain English for at least 3 months and above based on their PTPC test results held periodically as part of our Quality Control System.

Secondary

Secondary level classes focus on preparation for national examinations such as PT3, SPM and STPM English.

The focus is on application of English Vocabulary, Grammar, Writing and Speaking Skills based on CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) and HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) as outlined by the Ministry of Education Malaysia. The scope of Writing Skills covers school essay topics, summaries and directed writings to include report writing, letter writing and writing of articles. In all aspects of writing, they are expected to not only know or understand the subject in depth but also able to provide practical solutions to current issues and problems.
