Pusat Tuisyen Pendidikan Cemerlang

First registered as Pusat Latihan Cemerlang (PLC) in 1997 and later upgraded to Institut Latihan Cemerlang (ILC) by the Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri Kelantan and presently referred to as “PUSAT TUISYEN PENDIDIKAN CEMERLANG (PTPC)” since 2008. Established in 1996 with only 2 students. To date, we have 300 to 400 students studying in any academic year.

We strive to be committed to the students we are privileged to serve, in our alumni association, our dedicated, talented faculty and staff. We also take pride in having the most active and helpful group of partners, visionary parents, well-wishers, alumni and friends.

To all parents and future students of “Pusat Tuisyen Pendidikan Cemerlang (PTPC)”.

It has been a great pleasure and a satisfying endeavour in our attempt to assist students of PTPC in their effort to improve their standard of English communications & writing skills.

PTPC is a family establishment run by Brigadier General (R) Datuk Hussin Hj Yusoff, his children and grandchildren. With our tailor-made syllabus based on modified UK and American approaches of teaching and learning of English in a Malaysian environment where students rarely converse in English.

To master English one does not only have to speak in English but also think in English in order to write and speak grammatically correct English. Thus far all our students have shown great improvement in their individual performance of English at schools, universities and at work. Many of our previous students in the past have scored excellent results in their grading for English tests and national examinations (UPSR, PMR/PT3, SPM and MUET).

Our emphasis has always been to provide students with abundant opportunities to learn, study, explore, research and practices their English proficiency through the mastering of vocabulary, grammar and spoken English. Equal emphasis has been given to guide and improve students in their reading and comprehension skills. In short, Plain English is simplified English. Discipline and good moral values are also inculcated in all our students throughout their study. In all our teachings, study, research and practice they are based on Malaysian English Syllabus for school and university examinations at all levels.
